Most of the "bits" are now ready for reassembly. I purposely did not polish the brakes calipers or levers but left a nice clean aged finish to keep the bike looking original. The one Weinmann brake hood is toast and for now I am going to try a generic Cane Creek product which was cheap and easily available. Derailleurs and shifters are cleaned as best as I can although age and corrosion have left their marks. The original black ribbed cables will be replaced with modern lined type Jagwire.
