No, not necessarily. The free version of Strava records just what you asked. But that's irrelevant to the discussion since you don't use a smartphone. So I'm still confused... what DO you use to record your mileage, average speed, calories burned, etc? Simple odometer is the only thing I know of you could use. Seems a simple operation to record that to some spread sheet.
