I have and recommend bikes for long road rides, trail treks, gravel grinding, and city cruising.
Also nice to have both steel and CF.
Its nice to have a rack or carrier on a city cruiser for making short shopping trips and Not needing a car.
I also enjoy the simplicity of a single speed.
