Copy the file to your PC and store it someplace on your hard drive. At this point, you can actually remove Cyclemeter from your phone if you need some room for other stuff. If you reinstall Cyclemeter at a later date, connect it to iTunes and reverse the process. When you restart Cyclemeter on your iPhone, all your old data will be available to you.
Thanks. I'll need to try again another time. Unfortunately just now I'm reminded of why I mostly quit Apple. I've always found iTunes counter-intuitive and most of the stuff that made the old Apple of the 1980s-'90s successful seems to have been morphed into some weird hybrid of Apple and Windows that's worse than either. There doesn't appear to be any intuitive way to access my entire iTunes account via my PCs. I've run into this problem before.
