So after trying to get my 12 year old interested in a road bike her mother decided she wanted the 19" shogun frame i had set aside for herself. When my daughter got to see how much fun her mom was having on her Shogun and getting to test ride it she finally decided that she wants a road bike to replace the flat bar 1x8 Hardrock she's riding now. So...

I am in search of a 19" up to 50cm frameset. Nothing fancy, I'm thinking along the lines of a mid to late 80's Schwinn Le Tour, Shogun or similar that has room for 27x1 1/4 or 700x32 tires. Alloy frame would also be fine, but steel frames should at least be 4130 DB or better. Nothing that requires a claw mount derailleur please. Would be nice to find a touring frame like the Shogun I built up with lowrider fork mounts and rear rack mounts. I have a good selection of caliper and cantilever brakes so either would be fine. Nice paint with minimal damage also a plus.

Trying to keep the cost of this project down so if I can find something in the $100 (shipping included) range it would be greatly appreciated.
