He may have. LOTS of people did. The changing tents were just a free-for-all. And a lot of people competed in Speedos or similar, or one-pieces for the women. Body marking became a thing because tri geeks
didn't have a place to pin a cycling number (now it's just tradition). If it weren't for sunburn I'd wear less racing than I already do.
