A bit maybe. As in they're both black! Nah, the Carlton is a lot smoother/less bitter in flavour. I'm no beer coneseur (see can't even spell it
) but I just don;t like Guiness that much over here. Guiness over in the mother country seems to be a nicer more refined taste. Guiness here is to close to Sheaf Stout for my liking.
