Still find it amazing it comes apart like that. What keeps it together normally? I can't see any collars? I also would have though that making the join closer to the lazy buggers seat up the front (half way) would have made the packed up bike smaller?

But yeah, packing up things I love (or worse chucking them out if I don't need them anymore) when moving always makes me real sad.
