Ankle broken in two places plus a bonus broken tarsel back in July, coming off a mountain bike. Plastered up until 3 weeks ago, in an orthopedic boot since. The good news is I saw the consultant on Monday, and I'm now good to get back on the bike. Bad news is it's for short gentle rides only, and flat pedals only for the next two months.
Good on you. My friend broke his left ankle in such a way after he was put back together he can no longer shift gears on motorbikes with his left foot. That might change later , for now thats the prognosis.
