Today I did a small 12.5 miler across town. was planning on going to Arcata(next town over), but once I got on the freeway on the north end if town; I was disturbed by how thin the bike lane thing is, as I haven't biked to the next town over in years, so I turned around and did the waterfront trail to the south enc of town
Head through Myrtletown and hit up Old Arcata Road! The 101 is more direct but it's very unpleasant. On the flip side Old Arcata can be a scenic, enjoyable ride.
