. I have tried removing all software that the devices could possibly be tied to and trying to install one app at a time. Nothing works. InRide only wants to connect to Kinetic FIT. I can get it to be recognized by other software but it wont connect.
As far as the FIT software, I have reached out to Kinetic Support and they are scratching their heads as well. I am assuming it is something to do with the latest release of the software and this being an Android device. It seems the guys in support are primarily IOS users/supporters/programmers from my conversations with them.
I'll keep trying. It's just a bit annoying. I like the power feature in the Kinetic app but the cadence feature is severely lacking. It shows anywhere from 60 - 90 RPMs but mostly stays in the 80s regardless of how fast my cadence is. It would be nice to be able to use the cadence from my wahoo blue.
Try this if you haven't already:
After making sure the inRide sensor is not paired with any app on your phone, take the battery out of the sensor, wait for 10 secs and put it back on. Then, open an app that recognized the sensor before and see you can pair it this time.
Also, make sure your wahoo cadence sensor is also not paired with any other app when you try to pair it with the FIT app.
