Android App for Kinetic InRide V2
Has anyone found another software/Android App that works with Kinetics InRide sensor other than Kinetics "Fit" software?
I currently have Version 2 of InRide (The black sensor, not the newer green one)
The problem I have is that the InRide sensor is not accurate with Cadence and the Kinetic FIT software wont let me use another Cadence sensor. It will connect to the Cadence Sensor (I connected to Wahoo Blue, Cateye ISC-10 and !SC-11) but it wont let me choose to use the cadence from the attached 3rd party sensor in the FIT app. (Per the instructions and support from Kinetic this shouldn't be a problem)
I have tried a few other apps including Wahoo Fitness, ICW (Ant+ only) and Tacx Training and all see the InRide sensor but the sensor wont allow the apps to connect to it.
I figure I would ask here as I cant be the only one having this issue. FIT version is 1.48.
Thanks!

1) inRide sensor is Bluetooth ONLY, meaning that it won't be recognized by any app that's ANT+ only.
2) The sensor doesn't support multi-device pairing, meaning that you can't pair it with two devices/apps simultaneously. For instance, if it's already paired with the Kinetic app, you need to close the app or unpair first to be able to pair it with another app or device.
3) Kinetic android app is known to be buggy. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about this. Kinetic is more invested in iOS support, as far as I can tell. I can pair a 3rd party cadence sensor in the FIT iOS app without any hassle for reference.
Good luck, I hope you can get it work.

I have the same sensor that I use with my Road Machine trainer. Although I use the iOS app, I will point a few things that might help you.

. I have tried removing all software that the devices could possibly be tied to and trying to install one app at a time. Nothing works. InRide only wants to connect to Kinetic FIT. I can get it to be recognized by other software but it wont connect. As far as the FIT software, I have reached out to Kinetic Support and they are scratching their heads as well. I am assuming it is something to do with the latest release of the software and this being an Android device. It seems the guys in support are primarily IOS users/supporters/programmers from my conversations with them.
I'll keep trying. It's just a bit annoying. I like the power feature in the Kinetic app but the cadence feature is severely lacking. It shows anywhere from 60 - 90 RPMs but mostly stays in the 80s regardless of how fast my cadence is. It would be nice to be able to use the cadence from my wahoo blue.

After making sure the inRide sensor is not paired with any app on your phone, take the battery out of the sensor, wait for 10 secs and put it back on. Then, open an app that recognized the sensor before and see you can pair it this time.
Also, make sure your wahoo cadence sensor is also not paired with any other app when you try to pair it with the FIT app.

Try this if you haven't already:
After making sure the inRide sensor is not paired with any app on your phone, take the battery out of the sensor, wait for 10 secs and put it back on. Then, open an app that recognized the sensor before and see you can pair it this time.
Also, make sure your wahoo cadence sensor is also not paired with any other app when you try to pair it with the FIT app.

Ill try again with my daughters phone tomorrow as its a different make. My gut is the apps not allowing the sensor data for some reason.
