Just bringing a conclusion to this thread: I re-negotiated the price with the Seller. I think we both got frustrated b/c of the limitations of understanding eachother through emails. We found a price we could both live with.
The fork is not a "unicorn" (a term I will borrow from another poster here), but rare enough. Its a Frejus / Legnano style fork. Thanks to all that responded to this post.
