Update....
Forum member @
greg3rd48 was nice enough to help out with the frameset pictured above.
He had messaged me about it for sale out in the Bronx. I was able to contact the buyer, coordinate the price and he was able to pick up the frame, strip it and ship it to me in the midwest. I almost couldn't believe it when the box showed up at my door. My old one i believe was a 1978 based on the catalog pic but the serial shows 1977. This one is a 1976. Same everything but the rear drop outs. The ones on my old frame were Suntour and these are Ishwata.....but they are the same exact shape and size. The front forks are Suntour.
It's been a very busy last few weeks but i got to clean up the frameset, tear down my old and build up the new one. I am just working out the very minor adjustments on it now. Sadly it is down in the teens and 20s here so i dont know when i will be able to take it out on its proper maiden voyage but i must say this was an amazing act of awesomeness by a member on this forum for someone in need.
The old frame snapped on me on 10/10/2018 and in exactly 1 month you wouldn't even know it except for the frameset is one shade of lighter blue this time around. Lets hope it holds up as long or longer than my last one. I cant wait to get this thing out for a spin.
Thank you very much!
I will post pictures when i get time. I know that is the most important part
