^east of los virgines rd/malibu canyon rd is okay. it’s the most ridden part of the santa monicas as it is. west of that, the traffic and cyclists thin out. it’ll take 5+ years for the woolsey area fire (roughly pch s to potrero/lake sherwood n to deer creek w to malibu canyon e) to appreciably grow back and recover just enough. if we get a good rain year, the wildflowers will be tremendous as will be the mudslides.
