more for temp of the lights. for the kitchn components ... we replaced the floor joists per building regs (spans) and with 18mm hardwoord ply, then with isolation and 20mm solid hardwood with 8mm wood on top of 12mm ply. All glued together and sealed. Boxes are standard IKEA veneered MDF with recycled PET bottles for doors. Work surface is exposed/sealed 18mm ply and furniture grade linoleum at the work surface. All plumbing, wiring replaced and a new sand/cement layer on all inside walls with a skim coat of finishing plaster on the ceiling. handmade unique crackled tiles employed.

also removed brick along the exterior walls and cleaned out about 1m high of mud from the interior cavity wall that was collapsing.

should be good for a while. very strong and stable.
