Retired four years ago and the less I care about most things the happier I get. Lawn care??? Drudge time. And every time I see the mower I think of the bike I could have bought instead. But some things (at 68) you do care even more about. Spent (two nice carbon bikes worth!) a lot on my two dogs this year but don't want to imagine life without them. 70 years happily married ( OK, 35 for her and 35 for me), and debt free is the way to be. I even carry a new business card: "Retired Workaholic". And a workshop. Love it.
