Guide Tennies seem to be climbing shoes. They'd probably work fine for biking but are not designed specifically for it. Or they might be to flexible and not work well at all, I know climbing shoes are very flexible usually.

I'm curious to see the new Sleuth Dlx shoe which is for biking:
