I once hit 51 MPH on an old Schwinn Circuit in a semi-residential area in San Clemente CA. I made a few passes of the same hill and that was the best I could attain. I don't have the nerve to go that fast again, but occassionally as I'm driving along in the minivan, I glance at the speedometer as it hits 51 MPH, a little grin appears on my face thinking about the good old days.
