By estimation, I'd say that Shimano stopped doing any French-threaded stuff around 1980.

Italian threaded bb's from Shimano are still in production, or are at least supplied by them, in many formats, including square-taper, Octalink and Hollowtech.

On a related note, I've never seen a French-threaded Shimano freewheel, only headsets.
