After you remove it and clean the frame real well, just put it back in there if it seems to spin ok. It won't hurt a thing. (This assumes you'll just reuse the same crankset.)

Wildwood, your tubular wheels (120mm rear) are my next project. I'm going to rebuild them and try to reuse as many spokes/nipples as I can.
