Hi all - new-be here

I got this Bridgestone BB1 for $15. Ties held air, gears worked good enough - a lot of dirt and some rust. Fine Except for the seat which was a messed up ragg - could not figure out why it was just stuck into what I thought was a stuck seat post... nope - there is no seat post - And now I come to understand that some (all?) of the Bridgestone bikes had a quill seat post?

I measured across the opening and its about 22 mm - Per https://www.sheldonbrown.com/seatpost-sizes.html - the CB -1 (apparently similar bike) was 26.2

What are my options at this point? If I tried to find a quill seat post for it which size do I need ?
