There's plenty of bikes in what you are looking for. Test-ride and pick the one you like most at a price that you are comfortable with. I'd argue that it's better to buy after a test-ride than without, unless you know exactly what you want. Maybe you know someone with a bike you are looking for?

I suspect that a Diverge will be on the lower end regarding tire clearance, compared to what you are stating. Definitely closer on the 'road' spectrum of gravel-ly bikes.
