Maybe a foreigner from a place where they drive on the other side of the road, and suffered a moment of chirality dysphasia? In Detroit I had a friend from India, and it took him a while to get accustomed to driving on the "other" side of the road. I don't see a mirror on either end of this dude's handlebar, but the reflector on the trailer is on the right side, suggesting it's built for use on the left side of the road.
