Dahon Handlebar question

I'd like to put more sweep on my Dahon Mu Uno so I want to replace the handlebar. However, I tried a bar I already have - and because the Dahon bar has deep ridges across the mounting area it stays put quite well - but my replacement bar is more of a normal bar without those deep ridges so it moves when I stand and press hard. The clamp is clearly designed for the bar that has those deep ridges as you can move it incrementally and clamp down. Does Dahon actually make other style bars with this "knurling" or is there some other way to make a traditional bar work?
