as a certified idiot I really like bonded frames. For the most part it has worked out fine, but have been bitten once - everything looked fine until it was built up and I put serious pressure on the bond.. and movement.

so that was 1 out of 5, so 20% - not great but i tell you the ride of the ones that do work- is well worth the one that did not. Recently I have been on my bonded alu and carbon/kevlar/ceramic (they were experimenting) look almost every day and it is - without a doubt- the finest ride I have. it beats my reynolds 753 Look, it beats the custom tange Zunow, it beats tange 1 ironman, it beat my pinarello, it just wins. Sure, at some point it may explode and kill me, but before that--- it is sublime.

so yeah. rock the bonded frame.
