I'm thinking ahead while we still have time to SOTR next weekend. Is that rear wheel you are having problems with the one you will be using at SOTR? I don't think you should be taking on SOTR with a gimpy wheel. Do you need to borrow a wheel/wheelset for next weekend? Is your current rear wheel a 126 spaced freewheel hub with a 27" rim? What size tire? 1", 1 1/8 or 1 1/4"?
