Today’s ride had a cool start (roughly 48F) but sunny and temps warmed up a few degrees per hour so it was around 65 by the end.

I purposefully wore just a short sleeved jersey, gilet, shorts, and leg warmers. I was only a little cool at the start, and halfway I pitched the leg warmers, during the ride I adjusted gilet zipper up/down for descents/climbs. It was perfect.

The funny thing is the other riders were WAY overdressed with jackets etc., and I am sure they got hot and sweaty as the ride went on.

I thought it’s common knowledge to start a little chilled, but clearly some riders did not get the memo.
