Side note, everyone's experience is different, but I went to an elite pressure-cooker undergrad university and although there was good learning/teaching going on, in retrospect I think I would have done better and been a happier person if I had gone to a state-level university instead. Too much pressure and too many perfectionistic over-achievers in one place is not always a good thing.
Well, I hear you. But just because you go to an Ivy League school doesn’t mean you have to try hard to do well. Look at the President.
