I'm working but wasn't going to. Was going to go riding the new mtb out the back of nowhere, but screwed the front derailleur yesterday on my first ofroad run on the thing when I fell over trying to clip out. Weakest fall ever. Bloody weak as piss mtb stuff. So thought I'd come into work.

And damn, is the bike slow on the tar. The turnoff to the offroading I did yesterday is 3/4 of the way out on my out and back time trial track. Took me the same amount of time to get out to the turn off as it takes me to do the whole course on my roadie. How bad is that? Motor's the same. Only the bike's changed. Can't imagine how slow it'd be if it didn't have lockout. Guess I've just got to try and work out how to ride it better.
