Advice for a noob please

Hi guys,

New to the forum... hello to all. looking for advice as my first post.

I have a Boardman comp 2016 model (I think) from new and the brakes are done. Avid Juicy if I recall. I have already (several years ago) upgraded to a front 180mm rotor but I now need to replace the brakes as the Avid have leaked.

I have been looking at the SRAM Guide R's or the Shimano Deore M6000's. Both coming in around £100 (I'm on a budget).

My question is which are likely to be best for green lane and some forest riding (I know its very subjective) and which easiest to fit. Will I need any adaptors (already have the avid adapter for the 180mm rotor). Any advice or links to what i need would be much appreciated and should help get me back out for summer.

Thanks in advance...
