Advice for a noob please
Hi guys,
New to the forum... hello to all. looking for advice as my first post.
I have a Boardman comp 2016 model (I think) from new and the brakes are done. Avid Juicy if I recall. I have already (several years ago) upgraded to a front 180mm rotor but I now need to replace the brakes as the Avid have leaked.
I have been looking at the SRAM Guide R's or the Shimano Deore M6000's. Both coming in around £100 (I'm on a budget).
My question is which are likely to be best for green lane and some forest riding (I know its very subjective) and which easiest to fit. Will I need any adaptors (already have the avid adapter for the 180mm rotor). Any advice or links to what i need would be much appreciated and should help get me back out for summer.
Thanks in advance...

This is probably one of those cases where you can't go wrong and either choice is just as good. I run some older model Shimano SLX brakes on a couple of my bikes. They are easy to bleed, and spare fittings and pads are available everywhere. I have not yet had opportunity to try out SRAM's Guide brakes.
