It's like when there's stuff that is really good- and everybody uses it- and you just get the idea that it's regular, "run of the mill" ordinary stuff- but then you realize it was so widely used because they were just THAT good. But usually that realization happens long after they're out of production or easy to find at a decent price...

See- the Sugino AT- about the very best there ever was. But about as common as any ordinary decent part.
