I ride on mostly Brooks Pro saddles that are broken in nicely. I also have a more modern B17 that I am still working in. I have not had a sore ever and I have been riding since the early seventies. If I ride more than 5 miles or so I put on some gel type padded shorts that my daughter bought me. I DO feel it if I ride over 40 miles but no real sores just more of an ache.
