The bag is actually a Rothco Travel/Shoulder bag which is not designed for bikes. I think I found it on Amazon for $17! I put a few pieces of stiff cardboard inside and used a couple small caribiners to hold it to the B-17 saddle's rear bag slots. I just cannot bring myself to spend much for tool bags since I don't do any long distance touring or commuting. I know it's a cheap alternative and we'll see how long it lasts. Regarding the handlebars...I agree. I want to switch the handlebar to one with the same width and rear sweep but that also has about twice the rise. I've looked at the various Dimension Cruiser bars and I think one of those might work. More to come.
