Not a bad idea. The jump from 70 gi to 74 gi was a little rough. I have 45x16 gearing now, and a 17 sitting on the shelf. Just need to figure out if there is enough room in the dropout for that change? I know there is a figure out there for how much a wheel moves in the dropout for each tooth, can't recall what it is.
As far as the segment, it is 1.3 mi around a lake. The first stretch is mostly flat, with a shallow climb. It then takes a left turn to a steeper climb, then a fast descent followed by a right turn. I definitely spun out on the downhill (134 cadence). Maybe could have pushed that a little more. Could probably have taken the first left a little faster too.
Oddly enough my best time on the segment was today riding fixed. Can't seem to beat it on my geared road bike (which should be easier!).
