Here's a tech question for anyone familar with road brakes, Campy in particular. I didn't get any replies in the Mechanics forum, or by STFA, so I'll try with the FAR more helpful SS/FG gang...

What's the best way to remove road brake pads from their holders? Mine are stuck in place. I replaced them once before, but for the life of me I can't get the damn things out this time. I've tried pushing from the closed end, and pulling from the open end, but no go.

(In case there's confusion over which part I mean, I'm just trying to slide out the rubber brake pad, not unbolt the cartridge/holder from the caliper.)
