Not nearly as nice as some of the bikes posted, but I’m a fan of the boom schwinns. This was on fb and the color was in season so I took the drive. Had no seat or bar tape. Wheels were mismatched. But the bike was stored inside so the chrome bits should shine up easily. Put on a seat and some wheels from the used bin and went for a spin.
C’mon, it’s green! And it has a really nice GB stem.
There have been 3 or 4 tall (26 inch frame) green Varsities for sale near me this year but as I already have a yellow one I passed them up. Mine is now a 12 speed and I put Panaracers on it, the tires made a HUGE difference in the ride. It went from a painful curiosity and conversation piece to being quite enjoyable for leisurely cruises around town.
