I have one that was acquired in the 70's. The problem with them is when the O ring wears out. It is hard to find the right one that has the right cross section and overall circumference. The other problem is the "softness" of the steel. It bends really easily, but does not work harden very fast. The third problem is the mounting. it is a real challenge to get it in the right place that will hold and not slide on the rails.
