Oh, they're fine. I don't know that I can tell the difference between them and the R8000 chainrings on the roadie. They may not save a watt, but they look the business on a TT bike. The aero ones are supposed to be extra-stiff, too, for however much that's worth.

I don't really trust the front shifting on either bike, but that's mostly about not trusting any of my mechanics. I think I've had one guy properly tune a bike in my riding career.
