In my bargain hunting, I've come across closeout Di2 hydro lever sets for 150 bucks or so. That gave me the incentive to price out everything, and it still came out close to $1k when it was all said and done.

Meanwhile, mechanical has gotten quite reasonable, which makes the Di2 an even tougher sell.
