Since I'm a retro-grouch, I still run rim brakes and 10 speed Di2. Most of my wheels are now 11 speed compatible, so when and if a derailleur dies, it's just a matter of replacing those. The levers are switches, and those don't know the difference between an 11 speed and a 10 speed shifter.
