Just found out from corporate that I'm cleared to go to a 30 hr work week when we add our 3rd neurologist (in September) if that's what I want to do. No changes in base salary, benefits, etc. Its up to me to get enough work done to make the same (or more!) in my bonus pay but I actually think I can do it.
Sweet.
I had so much angst with this corporate takeover but so far its been a net win for me: new CT, new MRI, new Neurologist and now maybe a new, more compact schedule.
I will still probably work 4 days a week, unless I can come up with a schedule that works for everybody with me working 3 x 10hr days. But I'm probably going to go from 4 x 10hr days Mon-Thurs to a new schedule of 4 x 7.5 hr days, with the days being Mon/Tue, off Wed, Thur/Fri, off Sat/Sun.
