I have a Jandd expedition rack, which is one of the heaviest/strongest around, and attach via two rack eyelets at the bottom, and three hard points at the top (two eyelets and the brake bridge.) Blue loctite on the bolts, no problem with the weight (she's around 115, but I've carried 150 of cargo on that thing.)
