The reality is that most people riding lightweight carbon wheels (e.g. Enve, Zipp, Campy Bora) are still using rim brakes. Regardless, it's silly to compare disc brake carbon wheels with rim brake aluminum wheels, and then claim there isn't much weight savings with the carbon wheels. You need to either compare rim-to-rim or disc-to-disc.
