I still use my first pair of LG road shoes I bought with my first road bike in 2012. My Bontrager mountain bike shoes I've been using since 2016. A couple years ago I found an additional set of Shimano high-top MTB shoes at Goodwill.
I don't particularly like any of them, but don't hate them either.
The road shoes will likely be phased out after my eventual plan to convert most of my bikes to SPD.
