I worked in a garage where if customers were like that my boss would add 10% to the bill and let them negotiate him down when they arrived. It was fun to watch and I think some of the customers knew what he was doing but the whole thing became a ritual. Most were actually good customers and didn't mind spending the money as long as they got their "discount".
I also worked for an Armenian guy and he hated dealing with other Armenians, for the most part. Some of them were great but others had the idea that they should get a bro-deal just because they were Armenian. Like dealing with family.
