I rented that case from my LBS not long ago, and it worked extremely well. I second the comment about packing everything so there are no moving parts inside, but that was easy enough. I found that there was even enough room to pack my helmet, shoes, gloves, pedal wrench and other gear inside.

I worried that packing the wheels next to the outer plastic edge of the case would damage them, but with the skewers taken out they came through just fine.

My only complaints with the case were the fact that it doesn't have any handles on the sides -- only on the end. This makes it difficult to pick up and put in the trunk of the car, for instance. The other complaint was the $80 each way the airlines charged to transport it. But aside from making the reservation through certain travel agencies (or travelling internationally) I don't know anything that can be done about that.

Did you buy the case to go someplace in particular, or just for general future travel?
