Thanks for the info guys. That is a huge help. Especially about the straps I didn't know what to think of them since they are tied to the side of the case and if the case were to be deformed by pressure it would loosen the straps right?

Yes, the straps will loosen, but seem to be a good way to get the frame positioned in the case.
