They stole my money once, so I was comfortable posting their articles for a while. Now I feel we're even after continued solid content. So I won't.
They tested:
Cont Terra Speed, Terra Trail
Kendra Alluvium Pro Boost Pro
Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H, M
Schwalbe AllAround, Bite
Vittoria Zero, Dry
WTB Byway Venture

40c tires 30kmh w/ 90kg pair on flat rig over stone and tarmac 2 bar (30psi) , 3bar, and 4bar (60psi)

Key takeaways: g-One Allaround performed the same as the Cont Terra speed. WTB still roll like ****. 30psi makes 4w difference on the road here. 60psi top level gravel tire takes 23.3w on this rig, a 7bar top level road tires does about 18.4w
I bought the issue. Thanks for pointing it out.

Interesting...the % difference measured between the Terra Speed and Terra Trail was identical to what I measured (Terra Speed ~76% of Terra Trail CRR), while they also found the Byway to be basically tied with the Terra Trail. Again, identical to what my rollers found :-)

The outlier in common tires on my list is the Vittoria Terreno Dry. While they show it slotting in between the Terra Speed and the Terra Trail, my testing showed it being slightly slower than the Terra Trail. Now then, I also tested that Terreno Dry nearly 2 years ago, so maybe Vittoria has made some running changes in the mean time? Dunno.

In any case, it's pretty clear that both Tour's test and small roller testing give similar results, at least in a rank order and percent difference aspect ;-)
